China has a land of superlatives

China is the cultural treasure of East Asia. His social wealth and 5,000 years of turbulent history place it among the destinations of the world’s largest travel. The Great Wall, Terracotta Army, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square has the names resonate with history and legend.
China’s paradoxes are many, the skyscrapers of Shanghai contrast with Beijing’s historical treasures, while in rural provinces, mechanization is slow. His story is that the crisis between the two periods of stability.
The civil war in 1945 defined the China of today. The defeated Nationalists fled to Taiwan, while victorious Communists founded the People’s Republic of China. History and political considerations aside, China is a land of superlatives, including the Yangtze River, the Silk Road, the bamboo forests of giant panda and misty peaks in traditional ink painting immortalized. China has 33 World Heritage sites of UNESCO. Chinese cuisine is one of the great world cuisine. From acrobatics to martial art, calligraphy to Chinese opera, the vibrant, distinctive culture of this great country can be seen everywhere.
Spectacular Tibet was opened to tourists since the 1980th endured occupied by China since 1950, the Cultural Revolution seriously damaged its cultural identity, but in a Tibetan life and traditions of Buddhism historically important. China has a great variety of climates. The northeast experiences hot and dry summers and cold winters. The North and Central America has almost constant rainfall, hot summers and cold winters. The Southeast has substantial rainfall, with semi-tropical summers and cold winters. Central, southern and western China are also vulnerable to floods, China is also at regular intervals under the seismic activity
